Boldly exploring the dynamic and complicated reality of a family with an autistic 18-year-old, Falling poses difficult questions about loving someone who is hard to love. The Martins try desperately to lead a normal life. But, when a relative comes to visit, the entire family is thrown out of equilibrium.

The Rogue Machine should be commended for taking this project on. It’s a real education.

Falling makes for gripping drama (with just enough laughs to ease the tension)… Under Elina de Santos’s sensitive, incisive direction, her cast of five delivers one impressive performance after another.
- StageScene LA

Without a doubt, "Falling" provides a stark yet surprisingly entertaining look at both the pain and the bravery of families who live with severe autism in their homes every day, and certainly no one can leave the theater worse off for the exposure to this social reality.
